K’NAAN “BETTER”

Heard this song for the first time yesterday and instantly fell in love with it. K’naan brings a new flavor of his own music, something different from his very famous world-cup song “Wavin’ Flag.”

T.I. “LIKE THAT”

T.I. bringing back his old self with this latest single of his titled “Like That.” I really like this track solely because it takes me back to T.I.’s glory days before Jail. Unfortunately no download for this one due to copyright’s on singles.

SELAH SUE “RAGGAMUFFIN” F/ J.COLE

What an interesting collab! This is my first time hearing of Selah Sue, but her interesting accent puts a good twist to her singing and bring a different flavor to the music. Not to mention J.Cole’s involvement on the track meshes very well with Selah Sue.

CHILDISH GAMBINO “WE AIN’T THEM”

Childish Gambino gets real personal with this track talking about a lot of his real life situations. A track where he talks about his family, career, and mindset on his ever-changing life that’s likely to make his TBD titled upcoming mixtape. “Back of mind tho, I hope show gets canceled… maybe then I can get focused” (Talking about the NBC show Community?)

I actually saw Gambino premiere this track live at one of his recent shows and I have to tell you the energy he brings to the stage for every song is so powerful and it definitely showed with this song. With that said, below is the video of his live performance for this song “We Ain’t Them” in LA.

CALVIN HARRIS “LET’S GO” F/ NE-YO

Some screaming visuals from Calvin Harris and Ne-Yo’s club banger “Let’s Go.” Definitely hits the house genre a little bit when it comes to the beat!

FUTURE “SAME DAMN TIME (REMIX)

Some sick lines from Diddy and Ludacris in this “Same Damn Time Remix” by Future. This is a track you should def. take a listen to, at-least because of Diddy’s powerful lyrics.

VIDEO: NICKI MINAJ “RIGHT BY MY SIDE” F/ CHRIS BROWN [NAS GUEST APPEARANCE]

For her newest music video, Nicki Minaj not only has featured guest Chris Brown by her side, but also Nas, who appears by her side as the love interest of the song. It was kind of weird seeing Nas and Nicki all coupley, but makes for a interesting watch and a pretty deep song. (which is actually good, check it!)

DMX “SHIT DON’T CHANGE” F/ SNOOP DOGG [PROD. DR DRE]

DMX comes out with a new story tellin’ flow on his new track produced by Dr.Dre titled “Shit Don’t Change” f/ Snoop Dogg. Snoop has a pretty slick chorus throughout as DMX explains how things are still the same. The Weigh In, EP coming soon by DMX.
